Our NDH38 guest was Robert Morgan, animator & director of The Cat with Hands, the Bafta nominated Bobby Yeah and his forthcoming debut feature Stopmotion.
Rob is perhaps most known for his unique and startling animation style, as seen in films such as The Cat with Hands (2001) (which Guillermo del Toro called "original and unsettling") The Separation (2003) and Bobby Yeah (2011) which was nominated for a Bafta (between them they have won over 30 international awards.) He is also known for Monsters(2004) produced through the Film Council and FilmFour's Cinema Extreme scheme, the D is for Deloused section of The ABC's of Death (2014) and the Belial's Dream short made for the Arrow Video Blu Ray release of Basket Case (2017)
However, perhaps even more excitingly, his debut feature Stopmotion starring Aisling Franciosi (Game of Thrones, Nightingale) is completed and due for upcoming release.
