NDH9 (Sep 2015) featured Richard Holmes - the prolific British producer who has
produced 12 feature films for between £1m and £2m over the past 20 years, and is now
head of production at Creative England.
Richard joined Creative England in October 2013. His first investment, 45 Years,
directed by Andrew Haig premiered at Berlin 2015 and won two Silver Bears for
stars Charlotte Rampling and Tom Courtney.
Richard's string of producing credits include Eden Lake, Resistance, Keeping Rosy,
Dead Babies, Shooting Fish (which he co-wrote), Soft Top Hard Shoulder and the
massive US/UK hit Waking Ned.
Richard was very generous and spoke candidly, openly (and very amusingly) about
some of his experiences in the trenches. The feedback from this session was awesome -
